1.1. The CV building process : (The CV process)

It is essential to begin the CV process with a first draft. The rough draft will help you avoid forgetting anything on the final CV.

  • Jot down everything you have done in the past and what you currently do; do not forget to include the dates, names of the organizations, exact title, and specify the activities accomplished.

    • Education : diplomas, degrees, and field of study
    • Foreign languages : spoken and written (include official scores and level acquired from tests when possible).
    • Skills : list the skills you have in your field of study or work
    • Internships and volunteer work : relevant to the field you are in.
    • Projects : did you participate in any competitions during your studies or were you a part of a group that won an award, etc... ?
    • Hobbies and passions : sports, music, volunteer work, clubs, or associations

  • When writing your CV, think about the essential skills and the experience necessary to obtain and succeed in the internship or job for which you are applying.
