Introduction to the module « The Operational Amplifier (op-Amp) and its basic amplifier configurations  »

Content : this resource shows a first approach to the Operational Amplifier. We will limit ourserlves to an ideal model of this component and to the study of the basic amplifying configurations (inverting, non-inverting, follower, adder, subtractor). The animations of the ‘Virtual Lab” (java applet) allow to visualize the working principles of each configuration. So, it is possible to test the acquired knowledge either through interactive exercises (MCQ) or through full exercises provided with their solutions within the Virtual Lab.

Required knowledge : basic knowledge of electronic circuits.

Cours durations : 3 hrs, included exercises.
